One hundred one new positive tests for coronavirus were reported on Friday, Nov. 27 in Dutchess County, according to the NYS Department of Health.

On Thursday, the most recent data posted by Dutchess County, the number of active cases being monitored by the county was 650, a drop of 2 from the previous day and COVID-19 hospitalizations were at 42, unchanged.

There were no new deaths attributed to the disease reported by the county.

Over the previous seven days, an average of 2,343 live virus tests were given to county residents each day. Compared to three weeks earlier, active cases were up 173%, hospitalizations were up 281% and there had been 18 new deaths caused by or related to COVID-19.
