Sixty-four new positive tests for coronavirus were reported on Saturday, Mar. 13 in Dutchess County for a positivity rate of 2.9%, according to the NYS Department of Health.

On Friday, the most recent data posted by Dutchess County, the number of active cases being monitored by the county was 1161, a drop of 32 from the previous day and COVID-19 hospitalizations were at 38, an increase of 2.

There was 1 new death attributed to the disease reported by the county.

Over the previous seven days, an average of 0 live virus tests were given to county residents each day. Compared to three weeks earlier, active cases were up 4%, hospitalizations were down 30% and there had been 17 new deaths caused by or related to COVID-19.
